FAQs

Question

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We strongly suggest each guest be fully vaccinated at the time of the wedding. If a vaccine is not possible for you due to medical concerns, a negative COVID test will be required one day before the wedding. This page will be updated as the ever-changing COVID situation progresses. We greatly look forward to indulging in a health-conscience night of fun, family, and friends after so much time spent apart, and we need everyone to do their part in ensuring this wedding is as safe as possible. Thank you!

Question

Do you have a room block?

Answer

Yes! Please see the “Travel” section of our website, or use the following link to book your room: https://res.grandgeneva.com/ibe/details.aspx?propertyid=13972&nights=1&checkin=09/01/2022&group=2209PHI The “Travel” tab also lists alternative hotels in the surrounding area.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is Cocktail Attire. This can be described as a balance between formal and casual. Think of it as an excuse to dress up, but without the need for a floor length gown. For men, a jacket is appropriate, with or without a tie. For women, dresses with a mid, knee-length, or tea-length hem are suitable (and jumpsuits are always a great option!).

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

You can find our registry right here on our Zola website! Our registry reflects our joint desire for building our future. For this reason, our registry is mostly focused on cash gifts towards our future home and our honeymoon. While we have the utmost gratitude for gifts in all forms, we truly cherish those gifts which allow us to create memories, plant roots, and grow in our love for each other.

Question

Is the ceremony in the same location as the reception?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony will take place on the Chalet lawn, just outside the Chalet. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside the Chalet.

Question

How do I get to the Chalet?

Answer

The Chalet is on the Grand Geneva grounds, about a two minute drive from the main lobby. If you are staying at the Grand Geneva resort, there is a free trolley service available from the lobby. If you choose to drive, or are coming from another hotel, follow the signs towards “The Mountain Top”. This is the name of the ski hill where the Chalet is located. Once at the Chalet, there is a call button near the front doors that will bring the Trolley to the Chalet and take you back to the Grand Geneva lobby.

Question

What types of food/drinks will be served? What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

A full dinner will be served at 7pm. When you receive the invitation (a few months before the wedding) there will be a question regarding dietary restrictions, please let us know of any allergies you may have so we may accommodate accordingly. We will also be providing a vegan option by request. The bar will be open from 6-7pm for cocktail hour and will close for dinner (wine will be served with your meal). The bar will reopen at 8pm and remain open until 11pm. No need to bring cash, its on us!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking at the resort is free. There is a valet service available.
