A favorite weekend pastime: We spend more time than we should here- consider dropping by for some delicious Asian snacks and food to take home with you!
Almost always coupled with a trip to the Asian store, this is one of our FAVORITE "lunch date" spaces. Think of this as an Asian Chipotle. We both like the bowls 😉. There will also be one located closer to us in "downtown" on N. King St., but depending on your length of stay, it is CLOSED Sat. & Sun., so the Fruitville Pike location will most likely be everyone's only option. If you try it out, let us know what you think. It truly is one of our favorites!
America's oldest operating drive-in. Open year-round, 7 days a week, rain or shine. The theater hosts holiday or genre-themed weekends and has a lovely little snack shack. The theater is pet-friendly and classic old-time Americana. Make sure to bring your own radio, pillows, blankets, and adult bevys. This location is an absolute favorite.
We know-we know-we know- it's a hike! BUT with over 50 flavors of locally distilled vodka, this bar gives off not only Grateful Dead vibes but also our favorite flavored whiskey-birch beer. All we can say is we've spent enough time here to know just what we like. For real- if you go, try the birch beer.
Affectionately known as "the V" or "The bar" This is where we spend about 90% of our free time. We've met so many of our friends here and it's home to our standing Wednesday night trivia matches. It might just be a veteran's club but anyone is welcome in to grab some AMAZING FOOD and cheap drinks. *Let us know if you plan on swinging by so we can get you signed in if you plan on drinking! If you're just there for food, tell Todd we sent you 😁*
