Named after William Penn's landing at Philadelphia. Check out the Delaware River, Cherry or Race St. Piers or lace up your skates at the Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest
Be a tourist for a day. Explore some of the best that Philly has to offer. The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and Carpenter's Hall are just a few features. Tons of colonial-era homes and buildings and great bars / restaurants in a walkable part of town. RIP the Philadelphia City Paper on 2nd and Chestnut (Emad's first internship!)
Philadelphia's iconic and sprawling indoor market. Offers anything and everything you'd want for lunch. We got DiNic's brisket sandwiches the day before the Philadelphia Marathon and ruined our months of training. Worth it.
Check out the world-class art on display at the PMA or go up the Rocky Steps just to say you did. Great area of the city and connects right to Kelly Drive along the Schulykill (where we took our engagement photos and we weren't awkward at all)
Best Pizza? Check. Best cheesesteak? Check. Best Italian hoagie? Check. You can't go wrong with Angelo's.
Iconic alleyway in Philadelphia. Filled with lots of history and charm. Great spot for photos. It's like Europe but better.
