Travel
The nearest airport to Markleeville is in Reno. There are also bus and train travel options to Reno and South Lake Tahoe nearby. Markleeville is about an hour from South Lake Tahoe and about 2 hours from Reno.
The nearest camping is at Turtle Rock Campground, less than 1/4 from the community center where we'll be hosting. There is also camping available at Grover Hot Springs, a 20-minute drive away. Camping at both locations is first-come, first-serve and require a small fee.
There are a handful of small hotels in the area as well.
