We have set March 1, 2022 as the final RSVP date, but if you know your plans the sooner the better!
There are lots of options! Most likely, the only direct flight you will be able to get will be into London Heathrow. There are many layover options if you would like to fly into Liverpool, through London, Dublin, even Lisbon. **It is always cheaper to fly roundtrip from the same airport. If you plan on travelling before/after the wedding, the best prices will be to fly roundtrip and find cheap flights or train tickets to get you to the destination of your choice.
There are cheap flights out of the London airports (Stansted, Gatwick, London City, Heathrow) that can get you to Liverpool, or even Manchester. There are direct trains from London to Liverpool, however, do not delay in buying tickets! The prices get exponentially higher the closer you get to the date in question. We recommend purchasing flexible, off-peak tickets and giving yourself plenty of time to get from the airport to the train station. It is always cheaper to buy round-trip tickets too. **If you are planning on travelling by train for the majority of your time in the UK, there are opportunities for discounted prices. There are railcards for couples, or people within certain age brackets, and discounts for groups. Trainline.com is the best place to start, and splitmyfare.co.uk. There are also incredibly cheap buses that go between London and Liverpool, we don't necessarily recommend it for a direct journey as it will be 5-6 hours, but it is still an option.
We are going to be monitoring the situation both locally and internationally and will release a statement closer to the event date if there are to be any safety protocols in place.
