It all started in Latin class, freshman year 2012. Little did we know, when we were sitting across the room from each other, what God had in store for us. One evening before a Chiles High School football game, I was waiting for my friend to come pick me up and I looked out the window to see if she was there. I saw Hunter skateboarding outside my house, I turned into a ball of excitement and immediately called my friend to tell her to hurry up and get there; I needed an excuse to go outside! When they pulled up to the house, I rushed outside to climb into the back of her car. Before we pulled away I looked out the back of the car and made eye contact with my future husband, and waved at him. From there he would conveniently skate at the end of my street, I ran after his friend who was skateboarding to find out what his name was (I was too nervous to ask Hunter myself), and then me gaining the courage to put my number in his phone. When Hunter met my parents, I knew at that moment that he was going to be my husband. When he entered the room he didn't hesitate to go shake my mom and dads hands, and from that point on we developed a love that neither one of us could ever imagine was possible. Eventually, we became the first person we wanted to talk to in the morning and the last voice we wanted to hear at night. We developed a love for God together, a passion for the outdoors and nature, a rock to lean on, a shoulder to cry on, a partner to celebrate our successes, and the strength to hold each other up when things don't go as planned. We got engaged on November 11, 2017 in St. Augustine. We were walking around the old town and Hunter kept insisting on getting a picture at the fort. We started walking on the river side and asked a horse carriage guide to take our picture. That was when he popped the question, and when we decided to spend the rest of our lives together. We are eagerly waiting for November to come and can't wait to share it with you all!
