It only took a few messages on Plenty of Fish for us to set a day to meet up. I was fairly new to the dating app world and was skeptical. I told myself if this didn't work out i was giving up and just going to remain alone. I lived in North Brunswick at the time and David was living in Jersey City. He asked me if I wanted to meet him there since there was more to do. I said yes of course. After 20 minutes of trying to find parking I finally did. I texted David and told him I was on the way and what street I was on. We literally passed each other in the middle of the road. He called and told me to turn around and that we just walked by each other. I turn around and see him walk up towards me. With the biggest smile, and open arms, he says " Hey I'm Dave" and gives me a hug. We went to a Thai restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. We talked the entire night, about everything. No awkward moments. At the end of the night he walked me to my car and said he wanted to see me again. I said yes for sure. He gave me a hug and kiss. I knew in that moment this was for sure going to go far. We started hanging out more and more and the rest is history !

We had just finished celebrating our baby shower with all of our closest friends and family. We walked into Davey's bedroom to just have a moment together and look at all of the wonderful and thoughtful gifts. I sat in the rocking chair and looked at David. I told him how grateful I was for everything we received. He told me that there was one last gift that he needed to give. He got down on one knee, and told me how much he loved me. He told me that I am his best friend and he cannot imagine life without me. Then he asked me to marry him! And of course i said yes!
