We met at Corazón Cocina at the soft opening, Elysia at the time was working as the cashier at Corazón. Meanwhile Keegan, had quit his old kitchen job and was eagerly trying to get hired by his former chef (the owner of Corazón). So naturally, Keegan was there for the opening, to check out the food, and once again ask for a job. However, as Keegan was moving up in the line, he laid eyes on Elysia and his priorities suddenly shifted. He tried to play it cool, he ordered his food and then sat down, thinking to himself, "Wow, now I REALLY want to work here at Corazón." After he was enjoying his meal, Elysia approached him and asked to take a picture of him eating his tacos. Now Elysia was in charge of the social media page, and simply wanted a picture to post for the restaurants Instagram to advertise they were indeed open. However, Keegan greatly misinterpreted this as Elysia flirting with him (which he still claims is true). After a couple more days, Keegan did get the job at Corazón and was able to see Elysia almost everyday, and the rest is history :)

The day started with Keegan having to go to work early in the morning. Knowing that the ring was arriving that day and panicking that Elysia would be home when the package got there, as it required a signature. Keegan called Elysia and told her that his social security card was arriving and if she could just sign for the package and leave it on the bed for him when he got home. Luckily for Keegan, Elysia had left the house before the package arrived and avoided her finding out. So later that day, Keegan went and picked up his ring and eagerly waited for Elysia to get home from work. When Elysia finally did get home from work, she was heading to sit down on the couch when Keegan asked, "Hey, what would you like to do tomorrow?" "I'm not really sure." replied Elysia "Well we have to celebrate." Keegan said. When Elysia turned around confused and saw Keegan kneeling on one knee with the ring outstretched. And she responded with "YES!".
