Bridesmaid
Best friends for 25 years. We went to middle school and freshman year together; experienced our first music festival with one another, were ordered community service due to a slumber party gone wild, convinced my parents to drive us to Dallas to see Backstreet Boys, and had so, so many fun times being awkward middle schoolers. Despite eventually living 655 miles apart, we regularly visit and are ever present in each other’s lives.

Aaron and I met in 5th grade, brought together by a love for the Simpsons, Weird Al, and video games. There would be multi-day stretches of sleepovers during the summer when we were growing up - where we lived off Cheez-its & Dr. Pepper and stay up all night playing video games & watching Roots. Aaron, out of all my friends, understands my sense of humor the most; which I revere immensely.

While attending Master Plan (week prior to freshman year) at Western Kentucky University in the fall of 2003, we became each other’s first friend in college and have remained very close ever since. Cubby adds so much joy to my life and holds a special place in my heart. I can’t imagine our wedding day without him, and can't wait to sip champagne with my Cubbs in celebration!

I was lucky enough to be in the same math class with Chris, junior year of high school. We became fast friends through bad acting, dance offs, and terrorizing Ms. Muia. Chris is the funniest person I know. Despite going to different colleges after high school, we stayed close and continued the dance parties well after.

We met in Bowling Green, KY in 2011 when Erika came to WKU for graduate school. We first hung out on Halloween and became fast friends. Erika is the sister I never had, my go-to good time, my espresso martini partner, and has been a constant support through life’s peaks and valleys. I’m so thankful for her friendship and and know she will get this party started right!

I've known David as long as I can remember. We met when we were 3 years old, living one house apart growing up. I consider him my brother and I have been lucky enough for his life to cross paths with mine throughout middle school, high school, and eventually college. We’ve traveled the world together from Brazil to France. Without question, David has elevated my life through his sense of adventure and I’m so thankful to have been with him during those international adventures.

Rebecca and I were social workers in the trenches of rural Kentucky in 2010, she- a substance abuse therapist and I- a child and family therapist. We were paid in high fives and good vibes, but have stories and a lifelong friendship that came of it. Rebecca is one of the best people I know, I’m grateful to have her in my life and part of our special day.

Jon & I have known each other since 3rd grade. I can say without a doubt, Jon has had an influence on my humor & behavior than anyone. Like David, Jon and I have been through middle, high school, and college together. We've made so many memories during that time that I'm so honored to be able to say he is my friend/brother.

Meeting in 2008ish in Bowling Green, KY, this Southern belle became near and dear to my heart. I will forever associate Patron (chilled of course) and Rumple Minze with Savannah and the best summer nights on BG's square. The moment we were engaged, Savannah had all the "Future Mrs. Burley" gifts and flare ready to go! I'm blessed to have this sweet soul as a best friend, and ready to have her with me as I officially become Mrs. Burley!

Jon & I first met shoveling snow into a cooler for a bourbon bus tour. Safe to say our friendship has lasted well beyond the life of that party bus ha! We would eventually be roommates along with his fiance, now wife Audrey. Jon & Audrey are the soely the reason that I stayed in Louisville when I considered leaving. We both share a strong passion for golf and I'm so grateful for his patience, mentorship, and sense of humor.
Bridesmaid
Best friends since High School. We both became social workers; attending different universities for undergrad, but obtained our masters at WKU. Amber is the only person who gets me to talk on the phone frequently or for long periods of time, but each time I know I’ll laugh until my cheeks hurt or end the call with a full heart. Although I’m becoming a Burley, we will always be the “Williams’ Sisters.”
Groomsman
Aaron introduced me to Patrick in 8th grade. Since then, Patrick has influence my sense of taste, style, and preference more than anyone else. Patrick has been a model friend and someone I admire for being the most responsible & sensible in the room. He's someone that has always been generous to me & helped balanced out my shortcomings. I'm so thankful that I can still call him one of my closest friends.

While we’re both Hilltoppers, we somehow didn’t meet in Bowling Green- we met at a mutual dear friend’s bachelorette party in Savannah, Georgia in 2018. Realizing we live 2 miles from each other in Louisville, the party continued once we returned to Lou. Despite only knowing each other for a handful of years, living so close to one another and going through the Covid19 pandemic accelerated our friendship and now she's one of my best friends.

Berto & I became fast friends during the spring/summer of 2016 and have been hanging out together nearly every weekend since! Berto is someone I wish I could be when I grow up. He has an uncanny ability to make you feel welcomed, respected, and valued in his presence. He challenges my world views for the better and is sincerely the coolest person I know.
