Our love story starts as all great love stories do, with Catan and coffee. We met at a game night at Mac's house but didn't think much of it at the time. It wasn't until our frequent rendezvouses at Front Porch Coffee Co. that we truly began our friendship with conversation and caffeine. Not long after, Elyse offered Mac a ticket to a local music festival... and then invited herself along. This was followed quickly by our first Mac-initiated date (shoutout Sing Song). It didn't take Mac long to come around to the idea of "us," especially once Elyse took a job at ACU which locked her into Abilene. We began dating ("officially") on May 4, 2022. Our story has been full of music and karaoke, game nights and cocktails, joy and grief, life and loss, and tons of the Lord's favor.
