Jesi and Elyse have known each other since kindergarten and were friends throughout their grade school years. From competing against each other for the most Accelerated Reader points in junior high to their law school and graduate school journeys, they've remained close friends throughout the years. As Brent (Jason's dad) once told Elyse, "Everyone needs a friend that's a lawyer."
Erica Rucker

Erica is Elyse's older sister and oldest friend. When they first met in 1996, Erica wasn't a big fan, but Elyse grew on her over time. While they didn't always get along growing up, they became closer once they were older. Erica and Elyse have shared many adventures together over the years and love to travel together. Erica's creativity balances out Elyse's logical brain. Although Erica moved to Dallas, Texas in 2016, they still remain close and annoy each other from a distance.
Madi Metcalf
Bridesmaid
Madi and Elyse met as transfer students to the University of Central Arkansas in 2016. From a lice outbreak, to studying the cranial nerves, to hiking together: college would've been way less bearable if they weren't friends. Madi and Elyse were great support systems for each other while they were both in a new university. They now are colleagues in the speech-language pathology profession and continue their friendship from afar.
Jenna Allemand

Jenna has had the "pleasure" of being Elyse's little sister since 2001. Despite some sibling rivalry, they grew to love each other as they got older (do you see a pattern here?). Jenna and Elyse both share a love for languages. Elyse has enjoyed being an older sister to Jenna and can't wait to see where Jenna's future takes her after college.
Amanda Trice
Musician
Amanda and Elyse met at Round Mountain Coffee in Conway, Arkansas. Amanda was a barista there and it was Elyse's favorite study spot. The two became friends from across the bar and have gone on quite a few adventures together. Amanda is an amazing musician and one of the few people who will get up at 4:00am to go hiking (and cross rivers in the freezing November) with Elyse.
JD Flynn
Best Man
JD is the youngest and smartest of the Flynn bunch. JD and Jason developed a rather unique brotherly bond: they treat each other just like they want to be treated. Their rivalry is nonexistent, unless you know where to look. JD has always supported Jason's decisions and Jason does the same with JD. They spent a couple of years living with each other in San Francisco and grew closer. JD is Jason's most favorite brother.
Noah Hancock

Noah and Jason met at Gallaudet University in Washington DC! It was like a movie: they met in the cafeteria and have been friends since. It started with a joke from both of them and they knew they were in for an awesome friendship. Noah and Jason visit each other from time to time, despite living across the country. They enjoy hanging out and going to bars and always have a great time. Elyse can attest that these two really love puns.
Ryan Kosko

Ryan and Jason met in elementary school back in Arizona. They go waaaay way back and are still childhood friends. Ryan and Jason were in little league baseball together as well. The of them went through the same schools all the way from elementary to high school. They still keep in touch and Jason considers Ryan a close friend even though they live in different states nowadays.
