How far is Hotel Zero Degrees to the Church and the wedding venue, Candlewood Inn?

Answer

Our hotel is 15 minutes from the church and 20 minutes from the venue. However, to be safe, we ask guests to consider traffic when traveling to both events.

Is there parking available at the Church?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot directly to the side of the church. There is also street parking.

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to attend our ceremony at St. Peter Church without the presence of cellphones. We hired both photographers and a videographer to capture our special day, and will share these moments with you at a later time.

Is the wedding venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

It's both! Our venue sits on Candlewood Lake, where our guests will be able to enjoy the view and warm weather all throughout the wedding, while having access to the beautiful dining room and dance floor.

Yes, there is parking available at our venue. However, it is best to stay the night at our hotel so you can enjoy yourself and not worry about driving home (:

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to please let us know of any food allergies when completing your RSVP. We will then let our venue know as soon as possible for which accommodations can be secured in advance. You can always remind your waitress/waiter the night off to air on the side of caution.

Will there be an open bar?

Absolutely! We will have an open bar at our venue starting with cocktail hour into the reception.

Is smoking permitted on the venue property?

Answer

Yes, smoking is permitted on the venue property. We kindly ask that guests use the designated area provided by the venue.

What does the after party entail?

Answer

Our after party takes place right at our hotel! It is at the restaurant located in the hotel, Terra Danbury. We have arranged for some late night snacks for guests who decide to join as they sip on a drink to end the celebratory night.
