We had almost 4 years under our belts at OU when we finally met in our Intro to Mass Communication class. Albert sat behind Elyse all quarter and when we had to pick classmates for a project he made sure we were in the same group. After that, it was endless nights at Pawpurrs and Courtside (and some classes sprinkled in too) until we were officially OU grads. Two dogs, our first house and a bunch of years later we are ready to walk down the aisle.
We went to Hilton Head for Elyse's annual family vacation and decided to take a day trip to Savannah, just the two of us. It was a cool 93 degrees out that day. We took a stroll through a few parks and then headed down to River Street to take in the sights. We made a pit stop at the Savannah Bee Company and Wet Willy's and popped into a few more shops as we made our way down the river. At this point we were starving but Albert insisted we walk down to a secluded spot on the water, he got down on one knee (which he burned on the hot pavement) and popped the question. We headed back to Hilton Head to celebrate and stopped for some fresh Georgia peaches on the way.
We are so glad you are able to be a part of our wedding! We've put everything together here to try and make things easy on you. Find out information on where to stay, where the ceremony and reception are and anything else you might need to get ready for our big day.
