How we met!

First comes school, then comes marriage.

I was walking to class one day, (unprepared like usual.) I didn't have a pen with me, and I knew I needed one for class. Class was about to begin, and I was running late, (like usual.) It was at that moment, while walking into class. That I noticed this beautiful, vibrant, human being. She was standing there, organizing herself for class. While I was admiring her I noticed that she had a bag full of pens at her desk. I saw my opportunity to, 1. Talk to this beautiful girl, and 2. Get a pen to take notes before class starts. It was a win-win. So I built up the courage, and approached her. Shockingly, to my surprise, she was very sweet. After asking if I may borrow a pen, she kindly handed me one. The class went on as normal, and I sat there wondering if I should speak to her after class. I had yet to get her name and still would need to give her the pen back. Class ended, and I saw her pack up all her things, and without a care in the world, she bolted out the door. I quickly gathered my things, jogged to catch up to her, and I yelled, "Hey you forgot your pen." She then turned around, smiled, and said, "It's fine I have plenty of them." I then, replied, "Well I wouldn't want to keep it, and what’s your name by the way?" She said, "Elvia." I then asked, where she was headed, and she stated, "to the library to study." Nervously, I asked if it was ok for me to walk her there. She said, that was fine. I felt so relieved. We went on walking towards the library while having small talk. Suddenly, we got to the library. I knew it was time to say goodbye soon. At this point, I had butterflies in my stomach. I knew she needed to study, and I didn't have much time left to talk with her. My chance to get her number was running out. I knew that I had to get her number, and had to get to know her better. I couldn't help but admire her kindness, and beautiful smile. I tried to build up the courage to ask her for her number. However, I couldn't find it in myself. After telling her goodbye, and that I would see her in class. I started to walk off. While walking away towards the exit. I started to really regret not asking her. So something in me told me to go back. All of a sudden, I gained some confidence to walk back in there and ask her. Which I did, and she turned me DOWN! She said, she wouldn't give me her number, but that I could give her mine! I felt like a failure, I did end up giving her my number. I told her to text me if she ever wanted to grab a bite to eat, or hang out. I never heard from her again. I had seen her in class once, or twice more, however, no conversation started. I decided to search her on Facebook and send a friend request. To my surprise, she approved it right away. I messaged her quickly after, "Hey, you never text me." Her response was, "I never text a guy first." I said, "You never gave me your number...." confused and puzzled. She said, "You still figured out, how to contact me," and that there is how Elvia and I met. The rest has been HIS-TORY.
