A number of US-based airlines fly to Iceland, including Southwest, United, American, Delta, and JetBlue, and Alaska. Some of these carriers may offer more affordable flights.
Hotel
A variety of accommodations are available in downtown Reykjavik, as well as in the greater Reykjavik metro area. The city is very walkable and safe. However, hotels located between Skólavörðustígur and Hverfisgata may experience weekend noise due to proximity to nightlife. The link below shows accommodations within a 15 minute walk of the venue.
Travel Note
Reykjavik Excursions offers a shuttle from the airport to the BSI bus terminal in Reykjavik. Buses operate on a flexible schedule synched with arriving flights. Make sure to book your ticket in advance.
Travel Note
Iceland does not have rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft. Hreyfill (+354 588 5522) is a reputable taxi company providing services around the Reykjavik metro area, including to and from Keflavik airport.
