Getting a Visitor Visa

If you are not an Australian Citizen, you will need to apply for a visitor visa OR ETA before you arrive. It is best to do so a few months before, just in case they are having backlogs with application. This will enable you to get in and celebrate with us, without running into troubles at the boarder.

This is the best and cheapest way to apply for a visa into the country and the website linked provides all the information needed ( however if you are not eligible for ETA, see the Visitor Visa section on this page ) ETA is only available through the AustralianETA mobile app.

Driving in Australia

For our American friends and fam, it is important to know we drive on the Left hand side here in Australia. We also are not allowed to turn left or right on reds. Also make sure you are wearing your seat-belts because the fines are expensive and there are cameras everywhere.
