Gloria is Elsie’s maternal aunt and chosen Mother. She selflessly welcomed Elsie into her home as a child while Elsie’s mother struggled with substance abuse. Elsie was reunified with her mom when she was 11 but was once again placed into foster care at the age of 15. Gloria once again stepped in and has been a loving role model and caretaker for Elsie when she had no one else. Even though Elsie was a troublemaker sometimes, Gloria persisted in her compassion and chose to adopt Elsie 1 week before her 18th birthday. Gloria will be walking Elsie down the aisle and giving her away to her new husband, Adam.

Susan is Adam’s mom. She is a leading surgeon at the top of her field. Adam remains close to his mom despite her living in another state. He is so grateful for her help and guidance over the years and looks up to her greatly.
