We’re Getting Married!

Our journey began in the most unexpected way in a college classroom back in 2008. We were paired for a group project at De Anza College, just two students working together, unaware that this simple moment would be the first chapter of something much bigger. How deeply we would come to mean to each other. It wasn’t until 2013, through mutual friends, that we crossed paths again. What began as a simple hello turned into long conversations, easy laughter, and a connection that quickly felt natural and meaningful. We started dating and shared moments that brought us closer in a way neither of us expected. Over time, life pulled us in different directions, but something between us never truly faded. In 2019, we found our way back to each other. This time, everything felt right—the timing, the connection, the calm sense of being exactly where we were meant to be. Since then, we’ve built a life grounded in love, trust, and respect. We cherish long drives through nature, hiking adventures, and discovering new restaurants and coffee spots together. Through it all, we’ve grown closer, learning how to love each other more deeply every day. On July 11, 2024, during a beautiful day in Napa, John asked a question that changed everything. And with full hearts, we said yes—to forever, to growth, and to all the chapters still ahead. Now, surrounded by the people we love most, we’re so grateful to celebrate not only this day but the entire journey that brought us here and all the wonderful moments still to come.
