Skaneateles is incredibly special to us. Elsa spent her summers here growing up, and some of her sweetest childhood memories were made on this lake. Fortunately, Ryan quickly fell in love with this little town too, and over the years, it has become one of our favorite places to spend time together. Some of our favorite memories include grabbing ice cream from Doug's, picking up sandwiches and pastries from the bakery, starting our mornings with coffee in town, enjoying dinner at Rosalie's, Mirbeau, Moro's, or grabbing a pizza from Gilda's to eat by the lake. One of the things we are most excited about for our wedding weekend is having all of the people we love most in one place and getting to share a town that means so much to us. We hope you'll take some time to enjoy the village and experience the charm that has made Skaneateles so special in our lives. Most of all, we hope you leave loving it as much as we do.

This is such a magical spa if you’re looking to treat yourself to a super relaxing day. It’s only about 30 minutes from Skaneateles and totally worth the drive!

Anyela's Vineyards

The Finger Lakes region is known for its wine, and right in Skaneateles you can visit one of the prettiest vineyards around: Anyela’s. It’s only about a five-minute drive from downtown and has some beautiful views.

The Sherwood Inn

The Sherwood Inn is a true staple in Skaneateles and has been around since 1807. It sits right across the street from the lake and is located in the heart of downtown, so the location really can’t be beat. In addition to the inn itself, they also have a great bar and restaurant, which makes it a perfect spot for guests.

Doug's Fish Fry

Our favorite spot for ice cream and chicken tenders. Whether it's a quick lunch or a sweet treat after a day on the lake, Doug's is a Skaneateles staple. In our opinion, the best way to end a Skaneateles day is with a cone of Doug's ice cream by the water.

Rosalie's Cucina

Our favorite dinner spot in Skaneateles. The pasta is incredible and a must-have every time we're in town. We highly recommend making reservations in advance.

Joelle's French Bistro

One of my maid of honor Hope's favorite spots in Skaneateles. As a Skaneateles native, she's the one to trust! The outdoor dining is beautiful, and it's such a sweet little restaurant with amazing food.
