We met through mutual friends at UW-Madison. We hung out all weekend and had our first official "date" at the dining hall. Because all of our classes were online, we got to spend a lot of time together. Fast forward a few weeks, and Bhavishya asked me to be his girlfriend. Then the rest is history!

In August 2023, we went on a trip to Morocco. Towards the end of our trip, we left the busy city of Marrakech for some quiet nights in the Agafay Desert. We spent our first day exploring the desert campgrounds and ended the night with a lovely Moroccan dinner. Afterwards, we took a walk to gaze at the stars and sat by a fire pit. Bhavishya said he wanted to take a photo together, and set his phone down with a timer. The next thing I knew, he was down on one knee asking me to marry him! I was so shocked I forgot to say yes, but I remembered eventually. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Milwaukee!
