FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by July 14th, as we need to provide our venue with a final guest count at that time. If you’re unable to respond by then, please reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to work something out because we truly want you to be there! That said, we appreciate you not waiting until the last minute, as it helps us ensure everything is planned smoothly and accurately. Thank you so much!

Question

What if I need to change my RSVP?

Answer

If you need to change your RSVP, please let us know as soon as possible! This helps us adjust our final guest count and make the necessary arrangements with our venue and vendors. We appreciate you helping us keep everything running smoothly!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered through Zola and Amazon. You can find links to both registries on our website. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, but if you would like to bless us with a gift, we are incredibly grateful for your generosity and support as we begin this new chapter together.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15–30 minutes before the scheduled ceremony start time. This will allow plenty of time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony begins. We kindly ask that all guests arrive before the ceremony starts to help avoid interruptions during this special moment. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, there is a dress code! Our bridal party will be wearing pastel yellow, and we are asking guests to wear formal garden party attire with lots of beautiful colors and pastels. If you're looking for inspiration, searching "formal garden party attire" on Pinterest will give you a great idea of the style we're envisioning. We've also included a sample photo with the invitations to help guide you. We can't wait to see everyone dressed up!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be listed on your invitation or RSVP. We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space and planning considerations, we are only able to accommodate the guests included on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If children have been included in your invitation, they are more than welcome to attend! We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity and planning considerations, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on each invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know when you RSVP or reach out to us directly. We want all of our guests to be able to enjoy the celebration and will do our best to accommodate any dietary needs. Thank you for letting us know in advance!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking available at the venue for both the ceremony and reception. Our parking attendants will be there to help direct guests when they arrive.

Question

Is the Ceremony Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors! In the event of rain or inclement weather, we will move the ceremony inside the barn. The barn is fully air conditioned, so we’ll still be comfortable and able to celebrate together no matter the weather.

Question

Can I wear Yellow?

Answer

Yes, you may wear yellow! We will not be offended if someone chooses to wear the bridal party color! We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident in what they’re wearing.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask guests to put phones and cameras away and be fully present with us during this special moment. We have a wonderful team capturing the ceremony, so you don’t need to worry about missing anything! After the ceremony, especially during cocktail hour, we would absolutely love for you to take photos and videos as part of our wedding scavenger hunt! We can’t wait to see the day through your eyes and all the fun moments you capture and share.

Question

What is the wedding scavenger hunt?

Answer

The wedding scavenger hunt is a fun activity for guests to participate in during cocktail hour and the reception! We are creating a DIY wedding video in the style of a documentary, and we need everyone’s help to bring it to life. Each table will receive a list of photo and video prompts to capture throughout the evening. These will be shared and compiled to help us create a special keepsake of our wedding day from your perspective. At the end of the night, we will choose our favorite submissions, and the winning table will receive a gift basket as a thank you for helping us make such special memories!

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Absolutely!! There will be plenty of dancing, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on the dance floor. We also encourage guests to learn a few line dances ahead of time if they’d like! We are big on dancing and look forward to everyone getting out there and having fun with us!

Question

Will there be outdoor games?

Answer

Yes! We'll have cornhole, lawn games, a s'mores station, and plenty of fun activities throughout the evening.

Question

Are there restrooms available?

Answer

Yes! There are restrooms available on-site. Bathrooms are located inside the barn for your convenience.

Question

What if I have a question that isn't answered here?

Answer

Please don't hesitate to reach out! We are happy to help and want everyone to feel informed and excited for the big day.
