Question

When should I RSVP by? How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 5th 2026. You can RSVP by emailing us directly at eloraeddie2026@gmail.com, or through our wedding website.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, please arrive by 1:40pm latest. The ceremony will begin at 2pm sharp. If you choose to only come to the reception and not the ceremony, please do not arrive until after 3pm, at risk of interrupting the ceremony. Cocktail hour is between 3pm and 4pm. The reception officially starts once the couple returns from photos around 4pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no official dress code, keep in mind that the days events will be outside on grass and pavement. We recommend that you dress comfortably and casually, and avoid heeled shoes. You may wear whatever you feel is best, but make sure to dress comfortably and according to the weather. Jeans are okay!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is a child-free event. Please arrange to have childcare during the event.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is no parking on-site. We suggest you carpool to the event and park at Co-An Park, we will provide a shuttle to and from the property, at specific times. If you plan on taking the shuttle, make sure you are at the designated pick-up/drop-off spot at the specified time, otherwise you will have to call a taxi or ride-share at your own expense.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Can I bring a date or a plus-one?

Answer

The invite will include all the names of the people from your family who are being invited, if your invite is addressed to you and only you, please do not bring a guest.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged, meaning we have a professional photographer to take photos, and we do not want guests photographing the ceremony. During the reception, you may take photos freely.

Will there be a gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

There will be a 1 hour gap between the ceremony and the reception for the bride, groom, and wedding party to take photos. During this time, you can snack, drink, and mingle!

Can I post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! We want you to have a memorable time and be able to share the experience with those who could not attend. However, please wait to post any photos including the bride and/or groom until they have a chance to upload their first photos!

What will the weather be like during your wedding?

Answer

Typically, in early October in McGregor, it is warm during the day with a cooler breeze in the evening. There is always a chance of rain, we won't know until closer to the event. However, we have tents and shelter, the wedding will take place in rain or shine! Please dress accordingly.

I am traveling to to the wedding, where should I stay and how do I get to the event?

Answer

If you are traveling to the wedding from out of town, we suggest booking a hotel/motel in South Windsor, West Windsor, or Amherstburg. We are not providing specific locations or accommodations for out of town guests, you'll have to make your own arrangements. If you are flying in and do not have access to a vehicle, please email us directly and we can try to find a carpool solution for you, based on where you are staying. How long will the reception last?

Answer

The reception starts at 4pm and will continue until midnight (12am), you can leave whenever you want, you are not obligated to stay until the end of the night. The bar will close at 11pm.

How do I know where to sit?

Answer

During the ceremony, you may sit wherever you want, there are not assigned seats. For the reception, specifically the dinner, there will be a seating chart, each guest will be assigned a specific seat. Which we ask you to respect.

When will we eat? Should I eat before I come?

Answer

If you are attending the ceremony, it is recommended that you eat something light before coming. Between the ceremony and the reception, there will be a cocktail hour from 3pm to 4pm where appetizers will be served. Dinner will be served family style at 6pm.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry, gifts are not required, your presence is more than enough for us. If you wish to give a gift, there will be a card box upon arrival. We will be opening the cards privately after the wedding.
