Well according to Connor, we met in 2010. Connor said he thought I was cute, but that I was a tough/mean girl (I didn't let boys mess with me lol). Although Connor has this memory of us "meeting", I do not. I remember meeting Connor in the beginning of 2014, and we were hanging out with a group of our friends at a bonfire. Shortly after meeting, Connor and I became best friends and eventually began dating. Its been a long, crazy journey together so far, and we are both so excited to start this new chapter together.

On July 13, 2020, I got a phone call from our best friend that he was planning to propose to his girlfriend on the Biloxi Schooner sailboat. He explained that he wanted Connor and I to be there. I was so excited for two of our closest friends getting engaged that I went and bought a new outfit for the special day! On Friday the 17th, Connor picked me up early, and we headed to the boat. While on the boat, we were trying to figure out the perfect place for the boat to stop for our friend to pop the question. I suggested a spot, and that's when I turned around and saw Connor on one knee. Honestly at first I thought "what the heck are you doing?" Then I saw the ring, and that is when I thought "holy cow this is happening." Connor said "Marry me". I immediately starting smiling. I was so excited that I ran away from him (lol). Of course I ran back right away, and that was when I dropped to my knees with him and whispered the easiest yes I have ever said. After the proposal, we went back to the dock for another surprise. Connor had invited our closest friends and family to join us on the boat to celebrate. We enjoyed the sunset with everyone and could not have been more blessed with the best night. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you on the 27th!
