FAQs

Question

Am I invited to the courthouse?

Answer

Our courthouse ceremony is limited to just four people total, so we won't be able to have a larger group witness the civil proceedings. Additionally, we're unable to secure a specific date until the courthouse opens their books three weeks in advance, which makes coordinating a group visit challenging. The wonderful news is that we'd love to celebrate with you on Saturday, August 29th at our reception—that's where the real party happens, and we can't wait to share the day with you then!

Question

When should I fly in for the weekend?

Answer

We'd love to have you arrive whenever works best for you! Depending on when we schedule our court date, Saturday and Sunday will be our main celebration days. Feel free to fly in early to explore the area or join our parents and friends for casual dinners and drinks while we rest and prepare ourselves.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We've reserved our celebration at a venue with a strict 23+ policy that we're required to follow. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We've reserved space for those named on your invitation to ensure we can accommodate all our guests comfortably. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we'll be providing an open bar with complimentary drinks for all our guests throughout the evening. We kindly ask that you bring cash to tip our wonderful service staff.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

We're delighted to share that we'll be serving hand-held bites, passed plates, and plenty of appetizers throughout the evening. Rather than a traditional sit-down dinner, we've chosen this approach to encourage mingling and movement around the bar area.
