What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will take place in a forest setting, so we recommend semi-formal attire that’s both polished and comfortable for outdoor terrain. For Men: Polo shirts, dress shirts and dress pants are perfect. A tie or jacket is optional. Dress shoes, loafers, or leather shoes work well—please keep in mind that the ground may be uneven. For Women: Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates are all great choices. We suggest block heels, wedges, flats, or dressy sandals that are suitable for walking on natural ground. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable celebrating in all evening.

Can I smoke at Whispering Springs?

Answer

We have been advised to let our guests know that Whispering Springs is a smoke-free destination. Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited not only in the tents, but anywhere on the property, except in their designated smoking area.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Whispering Springs is an outdoor venue (and at times Mother Nature can be unpredictable) so please dress comfortably for the warm weather that we may experience in August. In the case of heavy rain, indoor alternatives will be arranged. Please also note, our ceremony location is a 7-minute walk from the parking lot to the Forest, through a natural meadow. Please wear proper and appropriate footwear for this walk!

Due to space constraints, we’re only able to invite the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding—we’re truly grateful you’ll be there to celebrate with us.
