Question

What is the dresscode?

Answer

The dresscode is formal. For the ladies that means a full length dress or pant suit, for the gentlemen that means suit and tie. Please do not put pressure on yourself to buy something new or fancy - just wear the fanciest item you own and that is perfect. If you could refrain from wearing a white wedding gown that would be much appreciated, otherwise all colours welcome. The ceremony will be on grass, so please no stilettos unless you are wanting to assist in aerating our lawn (thank you). It will be the end of Winter, and in the mountains that means the evening will be COLD. Please bring a coat or plan for multiple glasses of champagne.

Question

The Venue is your house?!

Answer

Yes! We are so excited to host you all in the gardens of our home. We ask that you are patient with all of our beautiful vendors who will be transforming our backyard into a wedding venue for the day. Please also be respectful of our neighbours as you enter and exit the property. The wedding will be held outside so please dress accordingly. There is a wet weather plan - but it will still be outside come rain, hail or shine. (Pls shine)

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP to all events by the 21st of July. This well help us to inform our vendors of final numbers. We have chosen to keep our special day intimate and celebrate with our closest loved ones. As a result, we are only able to accommodate guests specifically listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding our wishes.

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is our present, however should you wish to gift us a little something we will have a wishing well at the reception.

Question

Travel & Accomodation

Answer

We would recommend staying in Penrith. There are a lot of motels, hotels and airbnb's in the area. Unless you are going to drive please avoid staying further up the mountain as it will make it harder to find and uber or a taxi. When travelling to the wedding please pre-book your uber or taxi as we are a little further out, so numbers can be limited at times. Our home is just a 5 minute walk from Blaxland train station for those who wish to use public transport. We ask that if you are driving to please avoid obstructing our neighbours driveways or parking on anyone's lawn.

Question

dietary requirements

Answer

Please provide these as part of your RSVP. If you have a serious food allergy please make yourself known to our wedding coordinator, she will introduce you to our chef and ensure you are taken care of.

Question

Are you feeding us?

Answer

Do you know us?! Of course we are. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour full of delicious food, and then a reception with a banquet dinner. Plus an endless bar to toast the night away!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking any photos or video during the ceremony. We are so lucky to have some amazing photographers as well as some close friends who will capture the ceremony, and we will of course share all of this with you later. Once the ceremony ends - it is a free for all! Please take as many photos and videos as you like.
