Palmetto High school 2016; in 7th period gym class every Friday we would see each other. I really though Andrew was cute so I would hang out with him and Caleb in gym class. Finally, by the end of Sophomore year it was official May 27, 2016 we started our crazy adventure together. The rest of high school included many nights at each other’s sporting events, studying together, and going to dances together. Andrew had many late nights with football and wrestling and Eloise was busy with athletics and soccer. However, after practices and on the weekend we spent as much time as we could together and even worked at Sonic together for two years. The summer before Senior year was the first time that we went up to the pond in Massachusetts to see Andrew's family. It was an amazing time and we went to a Red Sox game and we discovered there is a Primark in Boston! That first time traveling together set the goal in our minds that we were going to travel to as many places and see as much of the world as we could together.

Eloise was on her way to Senior pictures when she found a litter of puppies on the road and Andrew came to help her find the owners at about 6:30 in the morning. We were able to get most of the puppies home safely and Maxwell was given to us. We did have to bribe Steve with Domino’s gift cards so that we could have Maxwell and keep him with Andrew at his parents house. Maxwell became the first grand baby of the Duncan/Leibe households and had been spoiled ever since! Maxwell went to see Andrew at his football practices and at first he absolutely hated car rides.

After high school graduation in May of 2018, we went to England to see Eloise’s family. Traveling to England was our first international adventure; Tampa all the way across the pond to Gatwick airport. We took the train down to the Southern coast to the vibrant city of Brighton where some Eloise's family lives. Then we took the Eurostar over to Paris for two days and one night as we received tickets from Eloise’s aunt and uncle. We travelled around Paris on foot and saw Notre dame, the Louvre, and funnily enough met up with Adam for beers on the Eiffel Tower!

Our first apartment was absolutely amazing and we made so many memories. The apartment in Tampa with Eloise, Andrew, Caleb, and Maxwell. We had movie nights, game nights, Mario Kart competitions, Just Dance, and many more fun nights just enjoying life while all balancing school and work. Living together with friends made life a little easier and we were able to joke how are lives were similar to one of favorite shows, Friends. We had plenty of temporary roommates that were always in the living room (Amber, Cam, Logan). When COVID hit this apartment became our little haven. We would all prank each other, sing, and just all be ourselves. However, one time Eloise and Andrew pranked Caleb really well, when Eloise jumped out of the pantry and nearly made Caleb punch her. We learned how to cook as a group as we decided to have "family" dinners and there was never a dull moment.

Leila Legume Beans joined our crazy band of misfits and little did she know how much joy she would bring to all of our lives. The crazy little Beans and Maxwell have been best of friends since she joined us even if he pretends to hate her sometimes. Beans helped Maxwell come out of his shell and brought back out his puppy side as he was getting a little on the larger side from not being very active 🤣

We decided let’s do it let’s go on a roadtrip, camp and explore with our furbabbies after Caleb passed away. As Andrew and Caleb were best friends for 16 years and we were all roommates for almost 3 years. When he passed away it was very difficult to continue on and restart. Off to the pond we went and it was incredible as a mental reset every sunset on that road trip was absolutely incredible 🌄

In the beginning of 2022 we went to our first festival with Eloise’s best friend Amber. It’s was an amazing experience and we are heading back for 2023. In October of 2022 Andrew, Eloise, Patty, and Steve jetted off to Las Vegas!! We all had an amazing time and we got to see Elvis remarry Patty and Steve in the Little White Chapel. We also discovered that the Monopoly and the Crazy Rich Asian slot game paid out the best in Vegas however, we don't have that much luck with it at the Hard rock with that one! The time spent in Las Vegas was super fun and it was an amazing bonding experience for all of us. After our first road trip in 2021 up to the pond to spend time with Andrews family, we decided we could easily drive to Canada now that Eloise’s mom lives in Canada. Off we went Andrew, Eloise, Maxwell, and Leila with the mini-home in tow headed across the the East coast of North America. Little did we know we would get stuck in a snowstorm in the Northeast in November. After a crazy day of driving in the snow the snow started getting worse and worse so we stopped at the first hotel we could find. The insane day was followed by the most amazing night, Andrew invited Eloise out to the parking lot to dance in the snow which is when Andrew got down on his knee and proposed!!
