At the beginning of 2024, Elodie spent this season reflecting and setting herself new goals for the year. After finding a job, she spoke to the Lord about her personal and spiritual life. That same year, towards the end of March, Elodie's aunt told her that a sister at our church (Ricardo's mother) loved Elodies personality and demeanor; and that she wanted to introduce her to her son, Ricardo. The Sunday following, her aunt, Sr. Roseleine, took her to make the introductions as planned. During the week before the introduction. Elodie, on her way to work took an Uber, the driver addressed her saying next Sunday she will meet the person the Lord has chosen for her. The same week Ricardos work colleague, told him not to worry because he will be meeting the answer to his fervent prayers that upcoming Sunday. That Sunday, April 7th, Elodie and Ricardo met, exchanged their contact details, and discovered while talking to each other each day, that they were the answer to each other's prayers. Ricardo and Elodie's love story is proof that the Lord always answers prayers made with faith and sincerity of heart, they are grateful for the path that has brought them here and the love that binds them. They are delighted to share their joy with all of you, knowing that their union is blessed and ordained by God. Thank you for being a part of their journey and celebrating their love.
