West Franklin Street
Franklin St. is a must visit for anyone looking for the “Chapel Hill” university experience. Spicy Nine and Sup Dogs are a few of our favorite restaurants to eat at on Franklin St. the UNC stores are my favorite places to get team gear from and atmosphere is exciting and contagious!
Town Hall Burger and Beer
This is the exact restaurant Dakota and I had our first date. Town Hall is our go to burger place. Make sure to visit the chalkboard outside and write your most wanted wishes!
Sarah P. Duke Gardens
If you’d like to visit where Dakota spent a lot of his childhood Duke Gardens is the place for you! I’m a Chapel Hill girl so I’d NEVER admit that these gardens are better than the North Carolina Botanical Gardens but they are worth a visit!
Maple View Farm Ice Cream
Locally owned and operated this is by far the kiddos favorite place to go when they’re have a sweet tooth! The chocolate milk is a staple in our house as well, you won’t be disappointed.
