Let's finally celebrate!

Spencer and I met under the lights of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. I was dancing in an international ballet company and Spencer was studying culinary arts abroad. One evening, I was strolling along the streets of Paris when it started raining. I noticed a puppy caught in the rain, crying out for it's mother who must have lost him in the storm. I ran to help him and BOOM! I bumped straight into Spencer who must have noticed the puppy at the exact same time! From there the rest is history...we went to a romantic dinner and danced the night away. Later, he proposed to me after a ski trip in the Swiss Alps. ...just kidding! Spencer posted an inappropriate joke in a group we were both in on Facebook. I was a little tipsy at a girl's night party when I saw it and replied with an inappropriate joke of my own. With a little encouragement from my girlfriends I added him as a friend. Spencer always tells people he was apprehensive accepting my friend request because he thought it might be a fake profile. The next day he sent me message and we talked a little before he invited me out for Mexican food and margaritas and I excitedly accepted. We took things slow at first, and then once it became apparent we loved each other we've been inseparable ever since. We have had countless adventures in so many different places, and so much has happened in our lives since we first met. We've both graduated college and started new careers, and we bought a house together. We had a very small wedding on our third anniversary, September 1st, 2018. We are really looking forward to celebrating our first anniversary with all our friends and family. Love, Lianne (& Spencer)
