Wow, look at you, being all prepared and checking the weather and the FAQ days before the wedding. Yeah, we saw it too, and we're working on backup plans. Dress warm and be ready to improvise.

What should I wear?

Answer

It's a formal event, but we want people to be comfortable. So if you like what you're wearing, we'll like it too. Keep in mind that Mersea is an outdoor restaurant on Treasure Island, so it can get quite windy. The weather forecast is for light rain, so please prepare accordingly.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, Mersea has plenty of parking. Alternatively, if you want to get more of the San Francisco experience, the new Treasure Island ferry terminal (https://tisf.com/) is a half-mile walk from Mersea. ------------------------------------------- Please do not leave anything valuable in your car. The restaurant owner has repeatedly warned us that break-ins have happened here in the past. -------------------------------------------

Where am I sitting?

The ceremony will take place on a lawn right next to Mersea. After that, we'll have a seating chart for the reception.

What's there to do during the reception?

Answer

Mersea will have some lawn games set up: corn hole, a bocce ball court, giant jenga, and a small putting green. Also we don't plan to have a dance floor.

What, no dance floor?

Answer

When's the last time you saw either of us on the dance floor anyways.

Will there be drinks?

There will be an open bar! Please arrange your transportation accordingly if you plan to drink.
