We're getting married!

Elly & Justin connected on the dating app Hinge in November 2021. They met at a cocktail bar called Forget Me Not in the Cherry Creek Denver neighborhood. Their first date ended up lasting 7 hours and included hot chocolate, musical dominos and stumbling upon a Christmas market. After Elly came back from a week in California with her family and Justin surprised her by parking at the airport and meeting her as she got off the Denver airport terminal train, they knew this was something special. Almost three years later, Justin suggested a date to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden since he knew of Elly’s love for flowers. He led her through the garden to a beautiful little bridge where he turned around and gave her the warmest hug. Then he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. With butterflies and scents of lavender in the air, the easiest answer to the best question was given. The best part? Forrest was right there with us the entire way 💚
