Ian and I met at the end of our AIT, military job training, in Arizona. There was a small group of us getting stationed in Alaska together so we all became really close. As soon as we got to Alaska, Ian and I got even closer. We spent everyday after work together going out to dinner, kayaking, fishing, flying, doing everything that Alaska has to offer together. Being in the military together has come with its blessings and challenges but we always find a way to be together no matter what.
