Please let us know your plans by January 1, 2024. We hope we get to celebrate with you!
The dress code for our wedding is garden party/dressy casual. Wear what makes you comfortable, and we'd especially love to see you in your favorite florals! We suggest flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony. Please keep in mind the weather can be chilly this time of year, so a light layer is recommended.
Our ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes or so prior to the ceremony to find a seat and get settled.
Our ceremony will have nontraditional elements, so stay tuned here for details!
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures in the park for around an hour. Guests can drive over to the reception at Meadiocrity Mead (about 15 minutes away) where snacks and drinks will be available. Dinner will be served around 5:30 pm, followed by cake and time to mingle.
Please see your invitation or RSVP for the number of seats reserved in your honor.
We respectfully request that the reception be adults only. Infants under 12 months are welcome.
We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception venues have ample parking for those who are comfortable driving. Uber or Lyft is a great option for those who prefer not to drive. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.
We'll have charcuterie-style snacks and a delicious buffet dinner by Chef Sara Restivo, plus cake, of course! Please note any dietary restrictions in your RSVP.
Our wonderful reception venue, Meadiocrity Mead, has numerous mead flavors for you to try. Try a flight (or two...) and get a pour of your favorite! In addition to mead, there will be nonalcoholic beverages available.
Mead is wine made from honey - a fermented alcoholic honey beverage. It's one of the first alcoholic beverages ever brewed, even before beer and wine. It's making a bit of a comeback these days, and there are as many styles as there are meaderies (or maybe even more!), ranging from sweet dessert meads to refreshing dry meads, "traditional" or infused with fruit, herbs, spices, wine grapes, hops, and even mushrooms! Of all the meads we've tried, Meadiocrity makes our favorite (they're anything but mead-iocre) and we know you'll love their creations too.
