Come celebrate with us at the lake!

We first met in January 2016 at Wake Forest University in Arabic class. What started with a Facebook message and a first date involving ice cream naturally evolved into friendship and ultimately partnership. The strong foundation we built during our time together at Wake allowed us to spend six years in a long distance relationship, spanning six different states and a six-month military deployment. Our feelings for each other never wavered, and, finally, in 2023 we moved in together in San Diego, CA. In February 2024, just over eight years after we first met, we were engaged. Our first photo together, mere months after meeting, was captured by Anna's sorority sister (below). We are still laughing and smiling the same way all these years later.
