Durango, Colorado is a beautiful mountain town located in southwestern Colorado. The wedding will be held at the McMillan’s home just west of town. Cell phone service and GPS can go in and out in the mountains so make sure you plan your route ahead of time!

Directions from town: From wherever you are staying in town, you will want to head for US-160 West. After getting onto 160 and traveling ~3.0-3.5 miles you will want to get into far right lane which opens to turn right onto Lightner Creek Road (aka County Road 207). From here its just over a mile to County Road 208 parking lot on your right, and the McMillan’s driveway just around the bend on the left. Directions from the West (SLC,Cali): If you are driving from Utah or California you will likely be headed towards Durango on US-160W. When you are ~4.0-3.5 miles from town look for a left hand turn onto Lightner Creek Road (aka County Road 207). From here its just over a mile to County Road 208 parking lot on your right, and the McMillan’s driveway just around the bend on the left.
Parking will be at the CR 208 trailhead 1/4 mi from the McMillan Residence. Please reach out if you will need assistance from the parking lot.

Although it is a summer wedding, there is always a chance for showers (or even snow!) in Durango at this time of year. Plan accordingly!
No dress code requirements here. Semi-formal / Cocktail attire is requested, but make sure that you are comfortable. Since the reception will take place on cobble stone and the ceremony will be in the meadow across the stream strongly consider other options before busting out your favorite pair of stilettos! Don’t forget to bring a warmer layer for the evening or a waterproof layer in case it rains.
