We were both at Mexicali Live to see a friend's band play. Lisa started chatting with Jay to only discover that they were both hooked on Trivia Crack (yes, that was a real game). Lisa challenged Jay's trivia skills and they started playing trivia together. Lisa asked Jay out for drinks and the rest is history. PS: Lisa was the leader in trivia games won. Jay will say he let her win, but we all know Lisa is better at trivia.

The third plan. Jay had two other plans to propose to Lisa, but you know COVID happened. Jay decided that it's better to have no plan and just wing it--in typical Jay Gavin fashion. Jay and Lisa had a plan to go to the Museum of Graffiti in Miami while they were on vacation. While the museum was awesome (if you haven't checked it out, we recommend it), it wasn't the perfect place for Jay to ask Lisa. Around the corner was the Wynwood Walls which has all outdoor art. After strolling along checking out the art, Jay asked Lisa to take a selfie and as soon as the camera clicked he asked Lisa to marry him. After a few curse words, shock and awe, Lisa said yes.
