On the very first day of QM BOLC (logistics school for junior Army officers) Ellis & Chase were told "you won't meet your future spouse here, so don't even try dating". Through some class bonding trips and Chase maybe wrecking Ellis's car...they seemed to beat the odds.

Chase visited Ellis for the Christmas holidays during her deployment. On Christmas Day they were walking around the old historic city taking in the beautiful cathedrals and holiday decorations. Chase, knowing Ellis would not want to have a lot of attention on herself, kept trying to find a nice, secluded place to propose but was fighting the crowds. He eventually got down on one knee in their Airbnb's kitchen and got his "yes"!
