Where is the wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be at Chapman Hill and Events located at 1960 Jett Roberts Road, Jefferson, Georgia.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. We’d love for our guests to dress their best, suits and ties for men, and long dresses for women. Absolutely no jeans! Think classic, elegant, and evening-ready! Please avoid wearing white and light colors, as we want to make sure the bride stands out on our special day! Also, avoid wearing light blue as the wedding party will be in that color! Will transportation be available?

Answer

Yes! Guests staying at our hotel block at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Braselton (200 Kaival Ln, Braselton, GA 30517) can enjoy complimentary shuttle service to and from the wedding venue.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:00 PM, so we kindly ask guests to arrive by 4:30 PM to get settled before the celebration starts.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is on site. Please note that overnight parking is not allowed. We’ll also have a complimentary shuttle running between La Quinta Braselton and the venue before and after the celebration.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors, but don’t worry, we’ll have handheld fans available, and the area is shaded for your comfort. The cocktail hour will be under a pavilion with fans, and the reception will be indoors.

What if I didn’t get a plus-one on my invite?

Answer

We love you and want to celebrate with all of our closest friends and family! If your invitation does not list a guest, we kindly ask that you come solo so we can keep our celebration intimate and within our venue’s capacity.

Are children invited?

Answer

We truly love all the little ones in our lives, but we had to make some thoughtful decisions about our guest list. To keep the day intimate and manageable for our venue and plans, we’ve decided to include only children from our immediate families. We hope you understand , this choice wasn’t made lightly.

Can we post photos on social media?

Answer

Yes! We’d love for you to share your favorite moments. We’ll have QR codes on the tables so you can easily upload your pictures for us to see. Don’t forget to use our hashtag #GoingHamm when posting!

Question

Will there alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a variety of beer and wine available during cocktail hour and the reception.
