We're Getting Married!!!

We all wish that we had that high school sweetheart story, but our story is a lot of fun and completely different than that. I (Brandon) got a notification on my phone after I recently activated my match.com account. I figured I would give online dating a go, and I really didn't know what to expect. Within an hour of setting my page up I got a ping, and went to check it out. I went to the lady's page who had messaged me (Jade), and did some "cyber stalking" for a bit. I had been catfished in the past and was leery of a "pretty" woman messaging me. We chatted for a couple of weeks and finally decided to exchange numbers. We talked on the phone a couple of times, and then I asked Jade on our first date. I was really looking forward to meeting her, as our conversations were going great. The anticipation was killing me, but then I got that call (you know, the one where something came up.). Not only did this happen once, but twice. I went back into catfish thinking, and thought this is not going to turn out well. Finally, we went on our first date and it was well worth the wait. I was sitting in Lagunitas and had a full view of Meeting Street and the corner of Queen Street. There she was rounding the corner, looking drastically more beautiful than the pictures on her profile. My heart was beating, I started sweating a little heavy. I wasn't sure that I would get the words out to just say hello. Her personality was out of this world, I couldn't have asked for more. We sat and talked for 4 or 5 hours. Then like something out of a movie we walked and danced all over Charleston for 13 hours in total. That is how everyday and date has gone since, hours of building friendship and romance. I knew I could love her almost from the start, but I didn't want to scare her off. Over time I was able to win her heart, and I am looking for many more years of amazing dates with the most amazing woman I could ask for.
