The Hardcastles 11.28.26

Elliott and Porter grew up down the road from each other in Coppell, Texas, but never crossed paths until returning to Dallas after college. On a Fall night in 2023, the invisible string between the two finally brought them together at a mutual friend's house. Porter and Elliott started out as friends, and began getting to know one another over the span of a few months. Quickly, the two realized they share values, humor, passions, and the same sense of adventure. While they started out as close friends, Porter had been waiting for the right time to ask Elliott out, as they both knew this could be something special! Porter worked up the courage to ask Elliott to dinner at Sixty Vines in Dallas, where they shared a bottle of Loveblock and a Margherita pizza. On May 13th, after several meaningful and memorable dates, Porter asked Elliott to be his girlfriend, and the two have been inseparable since. During their time dating, they have gotten to know each other on a very intentional level, learning each other's goals for life, habits, and what makes them tick. It became apparent very quickly that the two are cut from the same cloth, and it felt like they'd known each other their whole life! Elliott often joked that the idea of 'soulmates' was silly, but she now truly believes in it (so does Porter). After some time of fun trips, date nights, spending time with each other's families, and lots of taco bowls, they began envisioning the rest of their lives together. Porter waited until Elliott graduated from her Master's program, then planned the proposal of her dreams. Porter spent months picking out the ring, planning a surprise engagement party, walking the "proposal site", and involving all her close friends and family in the big day. January 3rd was the warmest day full of so much love between the two and their loved ones, as it launched them into a new journey together. Since then, Elliott and Porter have been intentional in planning a marriage and a life together. The real fun begins on November 28th, 2026, and the two are so excited for you to be a part of their big day!!
