A history buff’s euphoria! From https://peterloon.org : Peterloon Was Built to Rival the Grandest Houses of Europe and America. “The Historic Georgian-Style Home of Cincinnati Developer and Arts Patron John J. Emery and His Wife Irene was designed by the architect William Adams Delano of Delano & Aldrich, the leading country-house architectural firm in the United States. The house is a combination of Georgian and Queen Anne styles and when finished had 36 rooms, 19 fireplaces, 21 baths, and included a wing of guest rooms. Originally sited on 1,200 wooded acres in Indian Hill, the house was built in 1928 to rival the grandest houses of America and Europe.”

Where are the hotels with blocked rooms located?

Answer

Within 10-15 min from the venue, and still about 20 min north of downtown.

How far is the airport from the city?

Answer

CVG, the Northern Kentucky/ S Indiana/S Ohio airport, is about 20 min from the city and 40 min to the hotel.

Are there things to do near the venue?

Answer

A bit. Montgomery/Indian Hill are quaint but we suggest heading downtown and to Over the Rhine (OTR- our neighborhood) for most good food, drink, parks, shopping, and walking around.

Can we stay in the city instead of near the venue?

Absolutely! We don’t have rooms blocked but have made some recommendations for you.

Is any part of the event in the house itself?

Answer

Plenty! Bathrooms, coat room, some cocktail tables, plenty of original architecture for your enjoyment while roaming. Upstairs has 2 bathrooms and rooms for you to poke your head in. All rooms are as the family left them so you can look in but not go in!
