Which airport should we fly into?

Answer

We recommend that folks fly into Albany, NY or Newark, NJ unless you want to spend a day in the big apple before hand.

What to wear?

Answer

The wedding will be on a magical flower farm in the Catskills, with the ceremony on a lawn and the reception in a barn. Comfy shoes are highly recommended—spiky heels will get stuck! Block heels, wedges, or flats suggested. The Rehearsal Dinner and Ceremony are both cocktail attire, but we want to remind you that July in the mountains can get quite warm, so please dress accordingly.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

All guests are invited to our Rehearsal Dinner on the farm on Saturday, July 8 at 6:00 PM. We are so grateful that people are traveling so far to celebrate with us, and want as much time with you as possible! Please let us know if you’ll be able to join us by sending back the card within your paper invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yep! Both the Ceremony and Reception will the at the Inn at West Settlement, and their staff will direct you to parking on site.

How do we get from our airport to Roxbury?

Answer

We highly, highly recommend renting a car. If that is not possible, the wonderful Jack Witthaus has possible routes from major airports to Roxbury using a mix of trains and car services. It is very important to note that you must arrange car service from the Rhinecliff Amtrak station to Roxbury ahead of time. Uber and Lyft are not reliable in this area and we don’t want you stranded! You can take the Amtrak train from Penn Station in Manhattan to Rhinecliff, after which you can use a car service to get you to Roxbury. How do we get from Albany to Roxbury?

Answer

Our number one recommendation is to rent a car. We will be tucked away in the Catskill Mountains and your time there will be much lovelier if you can explore with a vehicle. There is no public transportation in Roxbury, unfortunately. From Albany Airport: Capitol Transit Route 737 to Downtown Albany. Transfer to route 214 or 808 to Albany Rensselaer Amtrak station. Frequency every 15-30 minutes. Cost: $1.30 Amtrak Empire Service, Albany-Rensselaer to Rhinecliff. Departs every one to two hours depending upon time of day. Cost: $19 coach, $40-62 business class -----car service, Rhinecliff to Roxbury (please see above FAQ for a list of phone numbers for car services—Uber and Lyft do not operate here)
