Things To Do

Whether you’re staying for the wedding weekend or making a longer trip out of it, Estes Park is full of charm, adventure, and stunning Rocky Mountain views. Here are some of our favorite activities to help you make the most of your time. Pro Tip: Weather in the mountains can change quickly, so bring layers, comfortable shoes, and a sense of adventure!

Rocky Mountain National Park

Estes Park, CO

We first visited RMNP together in March 2024, when the snow was knee-deep and the park ranger nearly turned us around for not having four-wheel drive. Needless to say, we’re thrilled to be returning during the summer when the trails are clear, the wildflowers are blooming, and we (hopefully) won’t need snow boots!

Downtown Estes Park

Estes Park, CO

Stroll through charming boutique shops, browse local art galleries, sample sweet treats from the famous saltwater taffy stores, and savor the flavors of Estes Park’s many local restaurants. And of course, be sure to pop into the cozy coffee shops for a warm pick-me-up.

The Stanley Hotel

333 East Wonderview Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517

Famous for inspiring The Shining, this historic hotel offers tours, dining, and gorgeous photo opportunities.

Aerial Tram

420 East Riverside Drive, Estes Park, CO

Glide up Prospect Mountain for incredible views of the entire valley.
