FAQs

Question

When do we need to book our hotel?

Answer

ASAP, the room block expires on December 15th. You only have to put a 30% deposit down to reserve your room. We have a limited amount of different rooms/suites. First come, first serve... don't be last minute!

Question

When is the best time to book a flight?

Answer

Flights to PLS should be available now! We would STRONGLY encourage you to go ahead and book your flights! April is the end of their high season, so booking farther in advance will keep ticket prices lower.

Question

Can we text you our flight/hotel information once its booked?

Answer

Please do! We plan on creating small group messages for the people who are on the same flight so you guys can carpool once you land in Turks and Caicos and then we have to open a room block for you to book your accommodations so it's important to text us!

Question

Do we have to stay at Blue Haven?

Answer

Yes, unfortunately they won't let outside guests into the resort even for the wedding, so we encourage you to book at Blue Haven!

Question

What is the Turks and Caicos customs situation like?

Answer

We want you to remember you are on ISLAND time when going through customs. There are normally 2-3 big flights that come in the mid afternoon to Turks and Caicos and the customs employees get very inundated. Please expect 60-90 minutes to get through customs. Sometimes you get lucky and it's quicker, but if you are impatient, run ahead of your fellow passengers when you get off the plane :)

Question

Is there another way to get through customs quicker?

Answer

Fast track can often get you out of the airport in 20–25 minutes after your flight lands, with baggage offloading from the aircraft usually being the holdup. Fast track service is offered by several concierge businesses on Providenciales. Prices start at approximately $75 per person (2025 price). It is defintely worth looking into if you are coming in on a midday flight in peak season! https://www.visittci.com/providenciales/getting-here/pls-fast-track

Question

What do we do once we get through customs?

Answer

Once you get through customs, there will be an area full of hundreds of checked suitcases (don't have to worry if you bring a carryon, but a suggestion is make yours standout so it's easily spottable), find yours, and then head outside and get in line for a taxi. The taxis are big vans and hold up to 9 people, so if you stick with our wedding party people on your flight, it'll be a quick taxi over to the resort! See, there is a method to the madness!

Question

When will the bride and groom be getting there?

Answer

Colin and Courtney plan on going down there Wednesday, April 15th and staying until Monday, April 20th. We want you all to think about this as a vacation for yourself and us getting married is a bonus! Feel free to come early and stay late, we would love to spend as much time as possible with each of you! The room blocks are booked 5 days before and after the wedding weekend in case you want more time!

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

To allow all our guests to relax and enjoy the weekend, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event! Thank y'all for understanding :)

Question

Do we need a passport to visit Turks and Caicos?

Answer

Absolutely! So make sure you apply for one if you don't have one already!

Question

How much time do we need to get through security when leaving Turks?

Answer

For departures from Providenciales International Airport (PLS) in Turks and Caicos, it's recommended to arrive at least two hours before your flight's scheduled departure time, especially if you have checked bags! If you don't have checked bags, 90 minutes is plenty.

Question

Answer
