We're finally getting married!

We have known each other since we were young through our church. Once I started youth group, we started becoming close friends. Jacob told me that he liked me but the feelings were not reciprocated until later on. He took another girl to prom and I got jealous. I then realized that if I was feeling jealous, then there were definitely some other feelings there beyond friends. A couple months later we started dating and then four and a half years later Jacob finally proposed!

The morning of the proposal we went to church at Citylight in Omaha. We then went to go visit the Holy Family Shrine to see it in the snow (or so I thought). We walked up to the front of the shrine and he got down on one knee and I said "Are you serious??" I could not believe the day was finally happening! After we went to lunch and then celebrated with both of our immediate families. We are excited to celebrate with everyone soon!
