Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be by our side.

Rebecca Smith

Matron of Honor

I have known Becca since 6th grade when she came to my rescue at a birthday party when a boy was picking on me. She has been by myside ever since. She has been through all the chapters in my life and is considered family. She was there during my awkward stages, first crush, failures, travels, to my college years and my “trying to find myself” years. She has always supported me and been there for me. We talk daily, she is my go-to when I need help, feeling down or I have down time driving to the mountains. She has been my rock and my confident and I would not be the person or friend that I am without her.

LB Snipes

Maid of Honor

We met my first year living in Denver 4 years ago at our apartment pool. We instantly became best friends after she ghosted me on our first hang, but we do not talk about that anymore LOL. She was there when I met Elling for the first time and has been by my side (our side) since. We joke that she is me 7 years ago (minus she has completed 30 “14ners” and I have zero lol) since we have a similar outlook on life, adventurous and we both work in the advertising world. I can be my 110% self and when we hang out it feeds my soul. She is an amazing friend and I am so lucky to have her in my life.

Briana Stokvis

Bridesmaid

We met thanks to Facebook (long story, ask us about it) and decided to move to Denver together and get an apartment within 2 weeks of knowing each other. She was my roommate and my first friend in Denver. We are two “yes” people and the life I have in Denver would not be the same without her. She is an amazing friend and confidant. We have gone on countless trips/adventures together. She is a great listener and pushes me when I need to be pushed. I can’t wait for more double dates, our families to go on trips together and ski when we are 60 LOL.

Danielle Sierra

Bridesmaid

We met at UCF thanks to The Lofts for putting us together as random roommates after completing a questionnaire lol. She still lives in Orlando but when we get the chance to plan a trip together or I am visiting we always pick up right where we left off. She has seen me at my worst and my best. Her family (Pablo and their son Lucas) are like family and will always be in my life. We are so honored her husband, Pablo, will be officiating the wedding!

Jessica Neff

Bridesman

We met at UCF at a psych ice cream social. Ever since we have had a similar path… Elephant bar restaurant (hostess’s turned servers lol)>Chicago>Colorado. We joke she is my Abbi and I am her Ilana. Some of my favorite days in Chicago were riding our bikes around the city, picnics at the park and going to concerts. Now that we live in CO together, we love to go camping, go on hikes or meet half way from CO Springs (where she lives) to have dinner. We have had so many fun times and blessed to have her in my life.

Emily Vikesland

Bridesmaid

Emily, Elling’s sister, was at the bar when Elling and I met. They asked me to judge their handstand competition. Since then, we share a love for espresso martinis and our passion to travel the world. We have gone on a few trips together, one being Argentina where she lived there for 2 years! She is back in the US and lives in Houston TX. She is very thoughtful, would do anything for her family and can’t wait to have her as my sister-in-law.

Lauren Meltzer

Bridesmaid

We met in Orlando at an internship but became close when we both ended up in Chicago after graduating. We have shared so many adventures together. Living it up in Chicago, finding ourselves in our 20s, going to Thailand for our 30th birthday – was there to help push me to quit my job and pursue open ended backpacking trip to Asia. She visited me in Denver and 4 months later ended up moving here as well. She is a go getter and a great friend.

Thomas Hoch

Best Man

I could've made it through high school without Thomas, but it would not have been any fun. Although our glory days consisted of playing golf, fishing, or boating we complained there was nothing to do in Lake Travis. The well timed voice of reason to my kid chaos. You couldn't ask for a more dependable guy.

Tanner Otterness

Best Man

More of a friend than a cousin. Thats a great joke if you understand the family tree. Tanner and I bonded over good music and games that favor hand eye coordination over athleticism. Even though we always lived apart there is no distance we won't travel to beat the local patrons in a game of pool.

For all the days along the way
