we're getting married!

Ellie's Aunt Ginia had a plan ever since Dylan's mom and step-father built the home next door. Some call it fate, others call it lifetime access to the pool. Ginia had a plan early on, casually bringing up to Ellie "The cute neighbor boys" or bragging to Dylan about her "Gorgeous nieces". Everything came to plan in mid August of 2020. With Colleen and Ron out of town and Dylan housesitting, Ginia saw her opportunity. Ellie was invited over to do some tutoring which somehow turned into cards by the pool. Dylan arrived to feed the dogs and after introducing himself, he went inside and immediately cancelled his tee time. After just minutes of chatting the ball was off and running. Out of fear of Ginia leaving and Ellie following, Dylan continuously filled Ginia's wine glass. Dylan's friends Sean, and Nicki then showed up followed by Mitch and his then fiance now wife, Paige. The night progressed and so did Ginia's buzz. After a 1:30am game of 3 on 3 basketball, Dylan walked Ellie to her car. She tried to give back the long sleeve shirt she had borrowed to stay warm, Dylan refused because that shirt was his excuse to get to see Ellie again. It worked, and the shirt has been with Ellie ever since as a symbolic reason to always have an excuse to come see her again. It has since been replaced with a ring, and will soon be fulfilled with an oath in front of God, and all of you!
