If you are flying in from out of state, the Portland Airport would be your destination. Aurora is 40 minutes from the airport. Whether you choose to stay in a hotel or a friend/family's house is up to you. I listed two hotels below that are both 10-15 minutes away from the venue. If you do plan on drinking please make sure you have a sober driver or use a service such as uber.
