Ellie and William met in choir class during Ellie’s senior year and William’s junior year of high school. Ellie first noticed William because he and his friend Amiir were always being loud and making everyone laugh in the back of the classroom. Plus, she thought he was cute. William, on the other hand, noticed Ellie because she had a few tattoos, some questionable clothing choices, and he also thought she was cute! To this day, they still disagree about who actually asked who out first. But one thing they do agree on is that taking that chance changed everything. After nearly five years of growing together, William proposed to Ellie on November 30th, 2024, at a park along the river — the same place they used to spend time together as high schoolers. It was the perfect full-circle moment for the place where so many memories began. Now, six years into their story, they are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of their lives and share their love with all of you on their big day!
